Jon Williams, founder, and MD of Williams Construction (Essex) Ltd has a strong background in construction, groundworks, and civils.
Our experienced groundworkers are committed to providing safe groundwork services in a wide range of settings, including civil engineers, construction companies, and homeowners. This is the basis on which we run our business, and results in many repeated contracts and referrals.
We typically have 20 – 25 groundworkers on site. Even with a strict vetting process and a comprehensive induction, a strong safety ethos is essential to running a safe operation.
Williams Construction (Essex) Ltd is totally committed to providing a safe working environment for its employees, client’s employees, site visitors, and the general public. Groundworks and civil activities are often undertaken in higher risk environments.
From our MD to our groundworkers, everyone at Williams Construction is made aware of the risks involved, and how to deal with them. We are all clear on our responsibilities in helping to create and maintain a safe working environment.
All our staff members are either CSCS or CPCS registered and receive further internal safety training for specific situations and activities.
We are registered with safety consultants Safe Aid UK, who helped us to develop our own bespoke health and safety management system, policy, and procedures. They also provide advice and guidance on risk assessments, and any specific health and safety issues we encounter.
